On December 1, 2008, a quiet farmstead was raided by armed men, the women and children held hostage for 6 hours in their living room while their home was ransacked. Communist country? No, this was America. The Ohio Department of Agriculture was on a fishing expedition, using gestapo tactics. They were trying to catch this organic co-op in a crime. Fortunately, these farmers know the law, too. They now have two powerful legal teams coming together to take the state agriculture officials to court for their over-the-top militant actions. See article about Manna Storehouse organic co-op in a recent issue of Farm and Dairy:

Testimonials
I would have never imagined that I would be blogging, or that I would join a group like Real Food Media. None of this would have happened without you. I mean more than the help you have given me, though I appreciate it very much. I also mean seeing the great good you do with your blog, with supporting WAPF, with advocating real food and the great info you provide on so many issues. There is such a desperate need for this information. You are an inspiration to me. Thank you for being who you are, and for doing what you do.
