Hmmm. Just read that vegn's have poor bone health! Maybe they should rethink dairy? Also do they realize breastfeeding contains "milk"

A lot of them comment on the sick children and say they would feel terrible if their child got sick drinking raw milk... but would you feel better if he got sick from FDA approved foods that have caused enough panic these past couple of years? Peanut butter, lettuce, cereal, spinach and several dairy products you buy in your local market?

If you have a trusted farmer in your area, stop listening to the politicians and the FDA (which approves drugs with warnings such as "May cause thoughts of suicide: or even "May Cause DEATH!") and do your own research on the benefits of raw milk. You may notice that all the bacteria, they advertise is good for our immune system, good for digestion etc, which they now and push on us in the form of store bought yogurt, they say it's not good in raw milk?

The raw milk has these bacteria because it's not cooked out, it comes naturally, the way God intended us to have it... What ever the cows eat, like alfalfa, clover, marygolds, herbs, yes, even grass, has valuable vitamins minerals and enzymes, we get these nutrients through their milk naturally. Visit a couple of farms, look at the cows, ask questions, I can guarantee you will start feeling better and healthier drinking REAL milk.

Today's milk is accused of causing everything from allergies to heart disease to cancer, but when generations ago Americans could buy Real Raw Milk, these diseases were rare. In fact, a supply of high quality dairy products was considered vital to American security and the economic well being of the nation.

*I'm* not kind to them. They're telling other people to eat in a way that ultimately will kill them. Even if you feel healthier initially because you've cut a lot of crap out of your diet, in the long run you will suffer from nutritional deficiencies and endocrine problems, among other things. That's not something I want them spreading to unsuspecting souls.

I have no problem at all with the idea of consuming milk. Steak is for cow muscles, eggs are for hatching baby birds, avocados are for feeding emerging avocado trees. Every food we eat is "really for" some other purpose. I view dairy as a way to make up for the fat we're missing since so many of the fatty herd animals have died off over the last several millenia. Where other sources of good fat are available (and sources of A and D), a culture will get away with foregoing dairy but it's not strictly necessary to avoid it. Just ask the traditional Maasai.

When your diet is as strict and demanding as the vegan's or vegetarian's, then you'll probably summon all the knowledge you have to argue against any diet that goes contrary to your philosophy. I think it's a defensive measure that helps them stay on track.

I used to promote the raw, vegan diet until I read Weston Price's work, which toppled my foundation. Then I noticed vegans disparaging Price. When questioned, none of them had read his book but they all felt qualified to criticize his work.

All we can do is be patient and love them. At least they are making hard choices and taking a stand for what they believe in. But boy, oh boy, they are annoying.

Me, I'm on the fence about milk consumption. I need to give it more study.
