		<description>I try to cook most of our meals from scratch too, it is a learning process for sure. Some people balk at the idea that I cook dinner each night, but it really isn&#039;t that hard once you get the swing of things. I think it&#039;s wonderful that you buy a lot of your ingredients from nearby farms! This is definitely an area I could improve on. We used to visit the farmer&#039;s market every week, but have been slacking, so this is motivation to get going again! 

I think it&#039;s a common misconception that home cooking equals high calories. I find the easiest meals I make are sometimes lowest in calories and highest in health benefits! Thanks for the great post!
