Raw Milk Goes Mainstream in Prominent Business Magazine
Jonny Bowden, licensed nutritionist and author of The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth and six other books on health and nutrition tells Forbes readers that grass-fed meats, eggs and raw milk are among the top 10 healthiest foods on earth. He goes on to mention a number of the primitive people groups studied by nutrition pioneer, Weston A. Price: the Inuit, the Massai, the Swiss highlanders of Loetschental Valley… sounds like he has studied Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, the classic book whose principles the Weston A. Price Foundation is spreading!
Truth be told, what you eat probably matters less than how much processing it’s undergone. Real food–whole food with minimal processing–contains a virtual pharmacy of nutrients, phytochemicals, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories and healthful fats, and can easily keep you alive and thriving into your 10th decade.–Jonny Bowden
Sounds like a Sally Fallon Morell lecture! Wow, is this ever good news! Hopefully those who fly business class read this article. When we have the guys (men and women, of course) on Wall Street scrambling around Manhattan to find a farmer to buy real food from, we will know we are really getting somewhere. And, just imagine if all those Toronto businessman got a hold of this. It may really tip the scales of justice in Michael Schmidt’s favor, huh? Maybe one of them plays backgammon with the judge…. Just had to throw that in here since it is Michael Schmidt month on my blog!!

I am glad to see this is in a mainstream magazine. I really wish I could find raw milk where I live. I had someone tell me I could do cow shares, but the milk is not grass-fed and she did not have the contact information anyway. Raw milk should be legalized, I have a right to access food that makes me a healthier person. Maybe this article will nudge legalization in the right direction.
I hope more people are waking up to what real food is, and they stop feeding on Cheez Nips and Chicken nuggets…it is crucial for our health.
Wonderful! The more segments of society that get this message the better!

That sure is good news! People certainly think I’m a little crazy when I tell them we get raw milk…and that it’s actually illegal to sell in my state!
