Blogger Augie’s Video Report on Issue 2

I met up with Augie at Wise Traditions, 2009. I asked for his perspective on the passage of Issue 2 in Ohio, which establishes an animal care standards board in his state. This is my first, ever Flip Video footage. Hope to do more “on the scene” reporting now that I have figured out how to work this thing!

Hartke is Online! would like to continue to follow the Issue 2 story. If you have any information on the new animal care standards board, feel free to contact this blog, at kim.hartke at gmail.com

I liked the video format, and it was helpful to hear the situation summed up in that way. Hopefully this will help people in other states take the proper action if a similar issue comes up there. It’s too easy to be passive, but when you start seeing things like this get passed, it makes you remember how important it is to actively stand up for what you believe in.

High-quality video for a hand-held device. Next time, I will try to keep my eyes on the camera!
