So what can be done once the child is showing signs of damage caused by soy? If the doctors are in denial about the cause of the problems who can you turn to for the cure or at least a chance to rectify some of this damage?

Gail,
I appreciated your blog. It seems a small group of people are becoming enlightened by the issues with soy. Hopefully there will be continued momentum, with advocates like you, to continue to educate. With the momentum wil come change in our products!

Having an infant, I hope this happens soon for infant formula as there is no "Soy Free" Baby Formula in the USA to date.

Thank you for your continued advocacy.

Thank you Gail, for taking up this very important fight!

It is so frustrating that parents think they are doing the right thing for their kids by feeding them soy. Although, as you point out, the FDA has never approved soy phyto-estrogens as safe for fetus, infants, or children, the American Academy of Pediatrics says that there is no “conclusive evidence” from any animal, adult, or infant study showing that that eating soy causes problems to “human development, reproduction or endocrine function.”

Ha.

I will help you sound the alarm by posting your info on my blog too. Please come by and visit.
