Welcome back to another Weekend Gourmet blog carnival! We so appreciate all the bloggers who add their fabulous recipes each week. By the way, if you ever try one, by all means come back and tell us how you liked it!
We try to focus on real food from local farms. It doesn’t have to be a complicated recipe or elaborate. Simple and yummy works, too!
And, by the way. Don’t shy away from putting farm fresh eggs in your recipes. The recent study equating eggs to cigarettes was bunk science. Check out what Sally Fallon Morell had to say on this blog last week! Sloppy Science Slimes Eggs.
Bloggers, you have no idea how important your role is in teaching people how to use fresh, real ingredients for nourishing their family! We need to get families off the cereals, microwaved meals and take out food! It is critical for the future of our society. Please read this post I did last Friday, Is Pellegra the Root Cause of Violent Shooting Rampages? I would appreciate anything you can do to share this post!
Here is Mr. Linky! Bloggers, please don’t forget to link back to this post from your blog! Readers, feel free to add recipe links in the comments, below!

Love cooking locally! Thanks! (And I’m sorry if I messed up with doing 2 links- I put in my name instead of the recipes name. :-/)
Rachel, I did, too! Haha.
I’ve linked up a yummy mango berry frozen yogurt pop! Perfect for these last few days of summer.
Thanks for hosting!
I’ve added a delicious, omega-3 rich, organic, lacto-fermented Mayonnaise using local, pasture raised eggs! You’ll never buy store bought mayo again!
Could you please add the name of my recipe, Quark and Flaxseed Oil, next to my name?
Hi Janet, I actually don’t know how to do that! Perhaps your comment will be enough for folks to check it out. If you want, just add it a second time, that is ok, too.
Hi Kimberly … Thanks for hosting! I’m sharing my instructions on how to make covers for your fermentation jars.
