Michael Schmidt–A Modern Hero

Weston A. Price Foundation President Lauds Canadian Raw Dairy Farmer

Michael Schmidt is a modern hero, no doubt about that.  He has persisted with his fight for raw milk from the milking parlor to the court room because he sees more clearly than most what is at stake–not just access to Nature’s most perfect food, but also validation for the point of view that honors the wisdom of all Nature, as opposed to the arrogant materialistic attitude that has spawned industrial agriculture and violent processes to sterilize our foods. His courage and powers of discrimination will carry him through.  As such he is an example to all who strive to make the world a better place.

Raw milk should be available for anyone who wants it. Michael Schmidt is a hero for standing up for what he believes.

Let people eat what they want to eat! Either ban EVERYTHING that COULD cause illness (ie. everything) or else leave this basic decision, this most basic of all liberties, to the discretion of the individual. And in the process, save the government some time and money, which could be much better spent elsewhere.

Choosing which foods we put in our bodies and feed our children ought to be a basic human right. Please Canada stop restricting access to this premium health food.

The right to chose should be a basic freedom. Please let it be!

Brave folks like Michael Schmidt are fighting the good fight so folks like me can get this wonderful, healing food. Raw milk has already helped me heal a painful rupture in my knee, ease my digestive disorders and clear up my psoriasis. Whatever the government’s objections are to real milk they need to consider the consumer’s freedom of choice! I should have the final say as to what goes no my dinner table not Big Brother!

The key to raw milk is a farmer who knows how to keep healthy cows. I would never dream of drinking raw milk from a factory dairy! However, I cherish my raw milk. It has done wonders for the health of both my husband and myself. In fact, I credit raw milk for getting me through the torture of cancer treatments in good shape. Please let everyone have the choice, and make sure the choices are healthy.

Food science and technology should not be the puppet of the food processing corporates whose only interest is $$ not health. I think that science can prove the benefits of raw milk and ensure that farm practices meet standards that ensure the health of animals and therefore the safety of this product for consumers. I would have thought that it was in the interest of governments to maintain the health of their populations through good nutrition which is the foundation of good health. Especially considering that the health budgets of some developed countries is in the billions of dollars and a considerable burden on the system is so-called chronic, ‘lifestyle’ diseases.

It’s our God given right to choose real, traditional, healthy foods. I drank a gallon of raw milk thruout pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She’s now 4 and very healthy. We never go to the doctor! Food is our Medicine!
