My husband and I are looking forward to attending another new documentary film screening, in Charlottesville, VA on August 2, in conjunction with Farm Food Voices 2009, an annual event sponsored by Virginia Independent Consumers and Farmers Association, and the Charlottesville Chapter of Weston A. We’re excited to announce the screening of FRESH across the United States. FRESH is a
call to action; it means to inspire its viewers to positive change, not scare them into
a terrified complacency. As such, the majority of the screenings will be followed by a
panel discussion with local representatives from the sustainable food movement so
audience members can learn what’s going on in their communities and get involved.
We will bring together farmers, activists, chefs, and policy-makers, all working to
create a more healthy, tasty, and sustainable future. Please join us, not just as part
of an audience, but as part of a movement to better our food system, and to bring about
a new vision, a new paradigm, a new reality, one that works for everyone.

I can’t wait to see FRESH. It looks so positive and upbeat: and beautifully photographed! If Food, Inc. is the stick, FRESH is the carrot!

I was fortunate enough to watch Food Inc. and FRESH on the same day. It was an interesting contrast. Food Inc sets up the problems with our food system, while FRESH elaborates on the alternative solution. It is very empowering, motivating, and promotes dialogue about what is possible. Ana talks passionately on the topic in our interview on our current Podcast #047 on iTunes and our blog. She is awesome!

Wow this video is eye opening. I am always an advocate of organic fresh food. I’m always willing to pay more to get food that not only is better for you, but also treated the animals better through the processing. Our soil is so depleted of vitamins and minerals that if we don’t make some changes very soon, we are going to have some bigger problems in the future!
