Found a Fascinating Blog about Gluten Free Living!
Yesterday, I was introduced to a great blog by three local women in the Washington, DC area. All three have overcome serious medical conditions by switching to a gluten free diet! One had crohns, the other celiac disease, and the third, chronic fatigue.
They continue to blog about their gluten-free life, and the many options they are finding to replace gluten in their diet. They even blog about local restaurants which have gluten free menu items. The blog has great links to other GF bloggers around the country. This is a good blog to follow if you would like to try a gluten free diet!
And, here is one for the glutie gals, try The Conscious Bean Cafe in Great Falls, it is an independently owned coffee shop which serves lots of gluten free goodies by a local baker. In one of the recipes, she uses garbanzo bean flour! They have great macaroons, (cookies made with egg whites) too.
