Yummy Kefir Smoothie–Pina Colada!

My entry in today’s Coconut blog carnival is a yummy Pina Colada smoothie made with homemade raw goats milk kefir.

Ingredients:

1 cup plain kefir (goat or cows milk)

2/3 cup ice

1-1/2 cup fresh organic pineapple chunks

1/4 unsweetened coconut flakes (if you don’t have this, use coconut milk 1/4 cup and reduce kefir to 3/4 cup)

1 tsp agave nectar

Mix in high speed blender until ice is pulverized.  If you are new to drinking kefir, start with 2-3 ounces and work your way up to drinking more each day.
