Be an Angel, and Share Your Kitchen Creations!
by Kimberly Hartke
I love blog carnivals! Woke up this morning and decided to try to start another one. My previous carnival, Natural Cures, never gained traction, and I eventually dropped the idea. You can still find all those carnivals on the Home Remedies page on my blog menu. Please, if you have a link appropriate to any of those archived carnivals, please submit it in the comments on the post! I still have hope that it will be a good resource to people who find them through the search engines.
This new carnival idea came out of my experience this weekend, of having to improvise while on a trip to the beach. Since the weekends are times when we are either busier than normal and having to do everything quick and easy, or sometimes we have lots of time to get creative in the kitchen. Either way, by Monday, you should have something you cooked up that would be worth sharing, thus, the Weekend Gourmet Blog Carnival is the place to tell the world about your latest culinary adventure!
Share your links in the Mr. Linky, below. Or, add your recipe (or a link to a recipe online that you enjoy) in the comments, if you are not a blogger. Anyone can join in the fun!

Hello Kimberly! I realize it’s not the weekend anymore, but thought I’d add my post today after just seeing your new blog carnival — I’m sharing the basics of a Frittata…
Thanks, Christina for christening my new blog carnival with its first
recipe (other than my own). Bless you!
What a fun idea for a carnival. I’ve given you my pancake recipe, which is really more of an idea than recipe. It’s classic weekend food, they feel a bit fancy and special, but are almost no effort and can be made when you have guests stay the night, but haven’t shopped for breakfast food.
I messed up the Mister Linky entry at first (so there’s an extra link called “Cookie”), but I posted my Calzone or Stromboli recipe on this weekend’s carnival. More recipes coming soon.
Thanks Cookie!
Hi and thanks for hosting! This week I’m sharing my post How to Make Curry Powder. Make your own to enjoy the royal richness of true curry! Have a great day!
