Share your Fave Home Cooking Recipes with Weekend Gourmet Blog Carnival!
Nothing will beat our health care crisis faster than getting into the kitchen and working with whole foods, fresh from the farm. Preparing healthy meals can be done in advance, and the frugal use of leftovers can insure you avoid the take-out food and fast food drive thru window.
I was remarking to my husband, just yesterday, how wonderful it is that I no longer suffer from severe knee pain. Six years ago, I was crippled with pain. Today, I live a pain free life. My husband also, went from high blood pressure and pre-diabetes, to radiant health and neither of those issues.
And, the only price we paid was to be a little more careful about what we ate!
The saddest conversation I ever had was with a woman who really wanted to lose weight, but when I told her what was required, she woefully admitted she was not willing to cook for herself. If you are unwilling to do it, hire it done!
