New Book Uncovers How to Create a Happy Healthy Home and Fight Indoor Air Pollution

This blogger is often wishing I had time to write a book. Then an offer came across my desk that I couldn’t resist. Filterbuy.com asked for a contribution for their book on how to create a healthy happy home, and I was eager to oblige. You see, I have been promoting a natural healthy lifestyle but was dealing with persistent allergy and sinus troubles that just wouldn’t quit. Well, it was seasonal actually. So it did quit in the Summer and Fall and the sinus issues would come roaring back in the dead of winter. So, my contribution, a chapter in this new book, is the story of how I got to the bottom of my health issue and overcame it. Every homemaker needs to read this story and be on the lookout for danger signs in your own home, that put your family at risk.

The importance of indoor air quality has been well documented over the past several decades, but recent research has shown that there is more to creating a healthy home than simply swapping out the furnace filter every few months. Indoor air quality has been found to be from 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air, and that translates into a serious issue that must be addressed by the responsible homeowner. To help customers create the best possible indoor air quality, FilterBuy has partnered with a range of air quality experts in the field to provide helpful tips and strategies to minimize harmful pollutants in the home or office in a new book, The Happy Healthy Home.

While most of us will never have to worry about asbestos in our homes, there is a long list of other contaminants that can adversely affect the health and wellness of occupants in the home or office. Carbon monoxide, lead, mold and mildew, pet dander, radon, VOCs, and more can pose serious health risks that can be minimized or even eliminated entirely when managed appropriately. The Happy Healthy Home draws upon the collective experience of dozens of environmental health experts who helped to form this comprehensive guide.

You’ll find everything from decluttering advice to essential oils and epigenetics mentioned  in this easy to read book. After skimming through it last night, I think it would be a great addition to any homemakers library!

The Happy Healthy Home is available on Lulu.com and Amazon.com in print version and downloadable for free on Filterbuy.com.
